To clarify, candidates who need a Tier 4 Student Visa will still be required to pay the International Tuition Fee Deposit as part of the usual admissions procedure.

Financial Support for Students

GEMS International Undergraduate Scholarships provide the recipient with the following benefits:

  • They provide eligible students with a yearly award of £2,000 in funding.
  • That totals £8,000 over the course of four years.
  • These funds will be applied towards the payment of the annual fees.

Criteria for Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy all of the requirements listed below to be considered for GEMS International Undergraduate Scholarships.

These requirements are as follows:

  • Required Language: English.
  • Eligible Countries: All World countries.
  • For the purposes of determining your tuition fee, you will be required to be classified as an International Student.
  • You must have been extended either a conditional or an unconditional offer of acceptance to one of the University of Stirling’s qualifying Undergraduate programmes in order to be considered for this scholarship.
  • You are required to be enrolled as an International Student studying full-time.
  • At the time that you submit your application to the University of Stirling, you must be enrolled as a full-time student at one of the GEMS Education schools.

Please take note that the University of Stirling will not give this scholarship in conjunction with any other scholarship that they may provide.

Instructions on How to Apply

In order to be considered for the GEMS International Undergraduate Scholarship, please submit your application in accordance with the following instructions:

As part of the process of granting admission, student identities will be determined mechanically. This prize does not require a separate application in order to be considered.

1. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) makes it possible for any student to submit an application.

As can be seen on their course pages, the UCAS institution code for this school is S75.

If you are applying to only one course, the application fee is £20; however, the fee increases to £25 if you are applying to several courses or submitting a late application after the deadline has passed.

You can submit your application directly to the University of Stirling if it is the only school to which you are interested in applying.

2. The following are examples of supporting documentation that may be helpful:

  • Academic records.
  • Supporting statement – Essay on why you want to study this course.
  • Reference – Supporting letter from someone who can comment on your suitability for this course.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of your proficiency.
